Established in 2010, Kernel and Spoke Technical Services derives its name from 2 important items in computing;The Kernel, which is a computer program that manages I/O (input/output) requests from software and Spoke which is derived from Hub and Spoke systems.The hub and spoke is a system of connections arranged like a chariot wheel, in which all traffic moves along spokes connected to the hub at the center. This model is commonly used in industry, in particular in transport, telecommunications and freight, as well as in distributed computing.

The Company was establsihed by Computer Science professionals and Electrical Engineers with emphasis on security when deploying Information Technology and Electrical systems.

A gap was noted in security when deploying technical projects hence the necessity to establish a company that would look at the entire project as a tunkey solution.

What we do

Since 2010, we have been deploying Information Technology related systems and managing projects in Electrical Engineering with Information Security in mind.

In the event that such systems were not deployed in proper way, we have been called in to conduct system audits to determine vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.

The company is also engaged in Digital Forensic Audits for purposes of detecting Fraud.

Whats new?

In 2015, the company was joined by Data Scientists. The scientists introduced a new area in the analysis of big data; structured and unstructured data for organisations with huge amounts of data stored in different databases.
